This site is primarily a showcase of my fine art photography. The above images are selected from three series featured under My Work and reflect my vision as it has evolved over the last 30 years. The statement and biography should provide further insight into what motivates and guides my art. The resume is edited and distilled. Should you be interested in the complete and current resume please contact me. I have just updated this site by adding a new series, Metropolis, which is current and continues my interest in the Language of Form. Click on My Work and you will find it. All of my photography is produced optically, on film, in a traditional darkroom. None of the original imagery was created using digital photography.
I am very pleased that The Roswell (New Mexico) Museum of Art and The Old Jail Art Center (Albany, Texas) have recently acquired selections from my Texas Rangeland series for their collections. Also, Tim Leach, CEO of Concho Resources, an oil company in Midland, Texas, has commissioned a new body of work titled Forgotten Planes; Morton H. Meyerson has purchased twelve prints from six series for his collection: and Southwest Educational Development Lab, Austin, Texas, has included ten prints from six series in their corporate collection.
I invite you to be included in my email announcement list so that I can inform you of additions to the site, upcoming workshops and exhibitions and other events. I hope you take the time to view the images and learn more about me - Burton Pritzker.
